1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Anihon Carbon Navi ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Anihon Carbon Navi is an eco-conscious mobile application that helps users:

  • Track and log waste disposal and recycling activities
  • Calculate CO2 reduction based on recycling efforts
  • View personalized garbage collection schedules
  • Earn points and compete on leaderboards
  • Participate in eco-challenges and community events

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Submit false or misleading recycling data
  • Manipulate the points system or leaderboard rankings
  • Use automated systems or bots to interact with the App
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

5. Points and Rewards

Points earned through the App:

  • Have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Are non-transferable between accounts
  • May be adjusted or reset if fraudulent activity is detected
  • May be subject to expiration as determined by us

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are the exclusive property of Anihon Carbon Navi and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. User Content

By submitting content (recycling records, profile information, etc.) to the App, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and display such content for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • CO2 calculations are 100% accurate (they are estimates based on general data)
  • Garbage collection schedules are always current (verify with local authorities)
  • The App will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANIHON CARBON NAVI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Anihon Carbon Navi, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity
  • Extended period of inactivity
  • Request by law enforcement or government agencies

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
